Technology & Solutions

The focus for ISYS has always been high-performance search for the enterprise. But over the years, the company has successfully moved beyond the desktop to develop solutions for business-critical applications such as virtual data aggregation, enterprise content management, e-discovery, text analytics, data loss prevention, as well as enterprise search.

At the heart of the ISYS technology model, and driving every one of its enterprise applications, is its core Document Filters analytics 'engine'. Essentially, it is a set of connectors that link to every source of information that exists within an enterprise, and which enables users to extract and display in high definition every piece of content contained in a file. Today, this technology is the key catalyst driving content mining and intelligence gathering across the whole ISYS product family.

The Document Filters technology is licensed to major software vendors who embed it within their own customer solutions. ISYS Document Filters enables organizations to search, process, analyze and extract insights from all of their unstructured data - such as emails, documents and presentations - content which conventional database management systems are typically unable to handle. In doing so, organizations are now able to get a more complete picture of all their data and extract maximum business value from it.

The IP behind Document Filters was developed in-house by ISYS and is the focus of continual improvement - involving significant partner collaboration. Today, ISYS is arguably the only vendor in the text analytics space that can say this.

When embedded in the company's enterprise search applications (Enterprise Server, Workgroup, Workgroup Web and QuickSite), the analytics engine is known as the ISYS 1-Click FileFinder(tm).
