Zig Ziglar (born Hillary Hinton Ziglar November 6, 1926 in Alabama) is one of America's preeminent self-help authors and speakers.

He has written prominent books and several audio productions in the fields of developing a positive self image, goal-setting, and sales, for which he is legendary in certain circles.

Known almost as much for his colorful voice and folksy southern expressions as for his specific advice, he has inspired many to improve their lives.

He is an Evangelical Christian as well as an avid football fan.

Trivia

As a newborn baby, Zig died, but then was brought back to life, through a miracle (according to his autobiography)

He is especially known for his statement, "You can get anything you want out of life if you'll just help enough other people get what they want."
