Armed & Dangerous is a video game created by Planet Moon Studios in collaboration with LucasArts. It is a third person Action/Adventure shooter which parodies both other games and several other media, using humorous in-game dialogue and cutscenes.
Armed and Dangerous was criticized for poor comic timing, the punch lines to the jokes came about a second too late leaving the flow feeling fragmented and choppy. It is also agreed that the game engine was far too simple and combat not nearly enjoyable enough considering it should have been one of its strengths. It wasn’t all doom and gloom though, the game was praised for looking good and it was quirky enough for the gaming press to enjoy it upon release.
The PC version of Armed and Dangerous scored 8.3 out of 10 with IGN (December 3, 2003). It got a press average score of 7.6.
The Xbox version of Armed and Dangerous scored 8.2 out of 10 with IGN (December 2, 2003). It got a press average score of 8.3.
This game take place in a small country called Milona where an evil king rules. The only thing standing in the way of the king and ultimate power is a band of Thieves, the miscrits were called mthe Lionhearts, cause they were so brave (or crazy) they were,
Roman: The leader of of the Lionhearts. He has quick, nimble fingers (the trademark of a master thief), and is good with any type of weapon.
Jonesy: One of the last survieving mole people who lived in the mines of Scotland, he is an explosives expert and loves a good old fasioned bomb.
Q: Q was one King Forges Q1.11 eliminatetor droids, but he was sacked when he tried to get the other Q1.11 droids leave with him to lead a drifferent life, and that's how he ended up in prison with Roman and Jonesy. Q has a love for tea, which was the main reason he was fired.
Rexus: Rexus lost the Book of Rule (and people hated him for that), and under a locking spell, he turn it into the book of basket weaving. Rexus has psycic abillities and can trick people and move objects, but his aim is a little off due to his complete lack of vision (he has no eyes).
