Ex-Mormon category

This is an addendum to my recent edit summary, in which I responded to anon 164.50.160.202 by stating, "The criteria for the category is on the category page. It says nothing about considering himself part of a collective group." For this reason LaBute belongs in the Ex-Mormons category, and I have re-added him.

Then I noticed that 164.50.160.202 also removed the link to Exmormonism from the Ex-Mormon category page. I actually agree with the edit summary in this case, where s/he writes, "The article under 'Ex-Mormonism' seems to have little to do with most of the people listed." Thus I am fine with the anon's edits there. I think removing the link from the category page is preferable to removing LaBute from the category. A bit slanted?

The majority of this article reads a bit like a fan's glowing mini-biography. Also, isn't there some controversy with this guy over mysogyny? Should that maybe be here? Magicflyinlemur 01:49, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

misanthrope

He's known more as a misanthrope. See the references that I added today.Arbol25 (talk) 11:36, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are some things missing from the details of his life...

I know it has nothing to do with his career in film.....but, in the mid to late 90's he worked as the director of an all girl's group home in Fort Wayne, Indiana called Lee House. I was one of the girls who resided then when he was in charge...lol. I remember that sometimes he would take us on outings to see one of his plays at IPFW. I think he made a impact on many of our lives. —Preceding unsigned comment added by S magallanes 1978 (talkcontribs) 17:38, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

criticism?!

once again, where's the well-deserved criticism section!?!? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.47.167.145 (talk) 10:54, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

error?

"His next play, reasons to be pretty, played Off-Broadway May 14-July 5, 2008 in a production by MCC Theater at The Lucille Lortel Theatre. LaBute's first ever Broadway production is reasons to be pretty which began previews at the Lyceum Theatre on March 6, 2009 with an opening on April 2, 2009." This doesn't read right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.184.8 (talk) 17:45, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
