I'm 60 years old, retired from Hallmark Cards as a copywriter and editor of marketing tools. I've had a lifelong interest in language and its use. I completed a Bachelor's degree in business administration and advertising.

In the past my interests have included roller skating and water skiing. Reading has always been my mainstay. Currently I read cozy mysteries and science fiction. Favorite authors include Isaac Asimov, Ben Bova, Agatha Christie, Dorothy Sayers, Margery Allingham and Laurie R. King.

I've just recently started using Wikipedia and am amazed with the depth and extent of the project. I have no especial fields of knowledge, but would be interested in contributing in some way.
