East Chop is the "Around The Sound" cruise ferry. Hy-Line Cruises bought this ferry from Nantucket Cruises Inc. in 1970 along with Point Gammon. She is 100 feet in length, and is 40 feet abeam. She is powered by two CAT engines, and has two propellers.
She is homeported in Hyannis, and stays there for the night. When she is in Oak Bluffs, she ties up at Memorial Wharf, and while she is in Nantucket she berths at Straight Wharf. The passenger boards on the Starboard side only.
