Template:Infobox Asian Games North Korea North Korea (officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea) participated in the 2002 Asian Games held in Busan, South Korea, from September 29 to October 14, 2002. Athletes from North Korea won overall 33 medals (including nine golds), and clinched ninth spot in the medal table.[1]
