Harold Dobbs was an influential leader in San Francisco, California. Born 1918, Dobbs was president of the city's board of supervisors, as well as founder and co-founder of several restaurants such as Mel's Drive-In and The Red Roof.
Dobbs was a successful politician in San Francisco. All through his life he was a lawyer, but he also was a politician. Dobbs ran for mayor of San Francisco, coming in 2nd. He was successful at becoming the president of the board of supervisors of the city.
Dobbs was married with five children. He became sick many years before his death due to leukaemia in 1994, at the age of 76.
