The Western Canada Hockey League, founded in 1921, was an ice hockey league that was later known as the Western Hockey League (1926) and Prairie Hockey League (1926). The League folded in 1928.

NHL Genealogy
Regina Capitals / Portland Rosebuds eventually joined the National Hockey League and became the Chicago Black Hawks. The Victoria Cougars also joined the NHL, becoming the Detroit Red Wings.
