Harry Smith is a Canadian professional wrestler. Smith's father is English wrestler Davey Boy Smith, while is mother is Diana Hart, the daughter of wrestling patriarch Stu Hart. In April 2006, Smith was signed to a contract by World Wrestling Entertainment
Career
Harry "Bulldog" Smith had the opportunity to work a tag match with his father as his partner early in his career which saw him start to work for the Stampede Wrestling promotion. He also was part of The Stampede Bulldogs tag team (with T.J. Wilson), and is often seen teaming with cousin, Teddy Hart as part of The Hart Foundation Version 2.0.
In mid-2004 after many try out matches, Harry Smith opted to continue work with New Japan Pro Wrestling and on the independents much like Chris Benoit early in his career.
Harry Smith would continue to find time to wrestle in many independent promotions, including MLW. In early 2005, he toured Japan with New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion. During this, his first Japanese tour, Harry Smith suffered a broken hand and had to have surgery.
In early 2005, Harry Smith quit Stampede Wrestling and also worked a couple of dark matches for WWE and wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling. In October of 2005 he resumed working with Stampede. Since then he has worked the indie circuit. He made an appearance at 1PW's 'No Turning Back' event, billed as Bret Hart's hand-picked mystery opponent for then NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett, Smith would lose the match.
Harry attended the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony of his uncle Bret Hart.
Harry Smith recently signed a WWE contract and will either be brought up to WWE Smackdown or WWE Raw.
