Yangang is a small town in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. Sikkim University, a central university is going to start functioning from 2012 at Yangang.YANGANG bestowed bountifully by nature, Yangang is a decorous hamlet enriched by cultural; diversity. about 50km. south of Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Yangang which means the ridge of fortune has an eco-frindly and pollution free environment which makes it an ideal destination for those in search of tranquility. Each house of the village provides a couple room with attaches bathroom for thew home stay purpose. the tourists are extended with warm welcome to stay in the village as Home Stay family. The accomodation may be simple but comfortable with good bedding as well as clean toilet faclities. The visiters are served with the local organic and delicious food and drinks along with cultural entertainment show.[1] Yangang is also the birth place of present chief minister of Sikkim, Pawan Kumar Chamling.
