Maria Chiara Fraschetta (born 2 February 1980 in Piacenza, Italy), stage name Nina Zilli, is an Italian singer that will represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Biography

She studied at the conservatory opera and spent his childhood in Ireland. In 1997 she founded a band: The Jerks. After high school at Liceo Scientifico Respighi Piacenza, she lived for two years in the United States (in Chicago and New York).

In February 2011, she received two nominations at the 2011 TRL Awards in the categories Best Look and Italians Do It Better.
