List of American Northwest composers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Cguitarfan (talk | contribs) at 05:53, 19 February 2012 (added internal links to several listed composers). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

The following is a list of Northwest composers, each of whom has lived and composed classical music in the Northwest region of the United States. Moreover, their classical music has been performed in a traditional setting - a ballet, chamber ensemble, concert band, opera, orchestra, or solo. However, not everyone on this list has referred to the Northwest in a composition.[1][2]

To find the website of a composer, click the composer's name. For example, Gregory Short.
