Pemberton's Windmill, Tytler's Windmill Atrophaneura plutonius. A rare species of high elevations. Three subspecies of which two are protected in India - A. P. pembertoni, Pemberton's Chinese Windmill and A. P. tytleri, Tytler's Chinese Windmill. is a beautiful butterfly found in India that belongs to the Swallowtail family.

Range

South India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Northern India (including Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim and Assam), Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Kampuchea, peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia ( Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi), Phillippines, Papua & New Guinea, northern China (including Sinkiang and Tibet), western China (including Sichuan and Szechwan), southern China (including Hainan), Taiwan, North Korea, South Korea and Japan.
