Danny Flynn, born in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom is a fantasy and science fiction artist. Since the mid-1980s, he has illustrated covers for hundreds of novels, including some for well-known authors, such as Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke[citation needed].

Sir Arthur C Clarke also contibuted a foreword to Danny's compendium book of paintings entitled "Only Visiting This Planet" published by Paper tiger books in 1984

Around this time Danny found his work in demand as a Concept Artist, working for many computer Games companies, including Electronic Arts and Travellers Tales

Flynn is soon to launch a new series of artworks, named Lunartics, images of hundreds of oddballs and misfits who discover that the Moon is hollow. Danny has spent many years creating both the characters and the landscapes of the interior of the moon.

Lunartics was inspired by Danny's deep interest in astronomy and British Natural History, initially triggered by the Apollo moon landings of the late 1960's. After years of bringing to life the visions of many authors, Danny felt it was time to involve himself in his own project. The results can be seen at www.lunartics.com
