Query about VC list

The article lists Capt Michael Allmand, VC, as being attached to 5GR. Can anyone confirm this? I believe that he was actually attached to 3/6th Gurkha Rifles. Please see the associated page Michael Allmand. Additionally, the 6th Gurkhas site (http://www.6thgurkhas.org/theregiment_vc.shtml) also claims him as one of their own. Can this be confirmed, and if so I believe that his name should be removed from the list of 5GR VC recipients. Does anyone agree or disagree? AustralianRupert (talk) 22:41, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Additional: The VC list has nine names, yet the infobox says only 7 VCs for this regiment. I suspect that the last two on the list (Allmand and Tul Bahadur Pun) actually belong to 6GR. As such, I believe that the last two names on the list should be removed. Does anyone have an opinion on this matter? AustralianRupert (talk) 22:45, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have now removed the two VCs for Allmand and Tul Bahadur Pun. Parker, 2005 confirms that these two men served with the 6th Gurkhas, not the 5th.AustralianRupert (talk) 05:19, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
