John Chichester (died 1669)

Sir John Chichester (1598 - 24 September 1669) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1624.
Chichester was the son of John Chichester of Hall, Devon and was baptised on 10 December 1598. He subscribed at Oxford University on 18 November 1614 and was awarded BA from Exeter College, Oxford on 28 February 1617. He was a student of the Inner Temple in 1617. In 1624, he was elected Member of Parliament for Lostwithiel. He was knighted on 17 September 1625.[1]
Chichester died at the age of about 71.[1]
