Schileykula is a genus belonging to the land snail family Orculidae. The species belonging to the genus Schileykula and Orculella are indistinguishable based on shell characters only. They differ however in the genitalia, namely (mainly) the presence (Orculella) or absence (Schileykula) of a penial appendix.[2] All species and subspecies inhabit Turkey except of Schileykula scyphus crassa (PILSBRY, 1922) which lives in Iran.
