Chemor is a main town in Kinta district Perak, Malaysia. Lafarge Malayan Cement has a big limestone quarry at Gunung Kanthan near Chemor. Chemor lies on the west coast railway line, but the 1896 station is not in use and is likely to be demolished (2011).
