Andrew Jean-Baptiste (born June 16, 1992) is an American soccer player of Haitian descent who currently plays for Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer.

Career

Youth and college

Jean-Baptiste played two years with the Connecticut Huskies.

Professional

Jean-Baptiste was selected 8th overall by Portland Timbers in the first round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft.

In his first professional match for the Portland Timbers, Jean-Baptiste scored a header from a free-kick, assisted by Jack Jewsbury.[1]
