Doel (Bengali:দোয়েল ) is a laptop assembled locally in Bangladesh.[1] It is assembled by Telephone Shilpa Sangstha.[2] The company's name comes from the national bird of Bangladesh, the Doel or Oriental Magpie Robin, a widely used symbol in Bangladesh.

Price

The entry-level model costs approximately US$130 or 10,000 BDT.[3]

Doel Primary-2102

The Doel Primary-2102 was named for the international mother language day which happened on 21 February 1952. Some Bangladeshi people died to establish the Bengali language as the national language.

Doel Basic-0703

The Doel Basic-0703 was named after the Liberation of Bangladesh speech, given by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, given on the 7th of March 1971 (07/03).

The Doel Standard-2603 was named after the declaration of war for the Liberation of Bangladesh from Pakistan in 1971, given on the 26th of March 1971 (26/03).

The Doel Advance-1612 was named after the date of the Victory Day in Bangladesh after the 1971 war with Pakistan. Victory Day was on the 16th of December (16/12).
