In 2009, it merged with Thomson Scientific to form the Healthcare & Science unit of the Professional Division of Thomson Reuters; the other units include Legal and Tax & Accounting.

Legacy brands include Medstat, MercuryMD, Micromedex, and Solucient.[2]
