My Blue Heaven was John Pizzarelli's second and last album recorded on the Chesky Records label, an album that showcases him without his usual John Pizzarelli Trio. The photograph on the cover was taken by Luciana Pampalone, and other musicians include his father Bucky Pizzarelli, Dave McKenna, Milt Hinton, Clark Terry and Connie Kay.
