Lok Paritran, is a political party formed by IITians in the year 2006 for the assembly election of Tamil Nadu, India. They contest in the several constituencies in Chennai in the 2006 assembly polls of Tamilnadu.

Santhanagopal Vasdev, Mylapore, and he is an M.A Economics from New York University.

P. Elanthirumaran (38), Chepauk, and he is a Project Manager/Software Consultant.

Ishrayel Maheswar (32), Thousand Lights, and he is an MBA, M.Phil.

Prashant Sharma (48), Egmore, and he is a Marketing Professional.

Arvind Tiruvaiyar (32), T.Nagar, and he is a Marketing/Social Worker.

Rajamani (56), Annanagar, and he is an senior consulting engineer with 25 years experience of working abroad.

Hariharan (28), Saidapet, and he is a Software Engineer.

Rabindara Ganesh (61), Park Town, and he is a Social worker.

They are all set to take on political bigwigs in the TN Assembly Polls 2006.
