A British architectural firm based in London and established in 1994, co-founded by John Assael and Russell Pedley. Registered in the United Kingdom and a RIBA Chartered Practice.[1] The firm's principal studios are located at Carnwath Road, London.[2] In 2012, the firm employed 48 staff, including four statutory directors, John Assael, Russell Pedley, Greg Greasley & Niall Cairns.[3] The practice is focused on urban regeneration, social awareness and designing places to live across all forms of tenure, from luxury private for sale, private rent (including build to let & multi-family residential), and affordable housing, themes that have long been a feature of their work.[4] Place-making, celebration of public space and the encouragement of public engagement are also recurring themes in their urban design and architectural work.[5] Their portfolio often includes or in the context of significant Listed buildings.[6] They practice nationally and internationally in the residential, hotel, leisure, mixed-use, and master planning sectors.[7] [8]
