Question

Is there some reason why you basically copied my arguments on Talk:Tokyo Two and Talk:Sri Lanka, changing them slightly with your own words, and then erased those copies? And then, after that, you copied over my words to Talk:Mexico? I'm especially concerned with the addition to Talk:Mexico, since it doesn't even make any sense--my arguments in Talk: Sri Lanka specifically called into question the RfC because the issue had already been previously discussed in other places on Wikipedia, and that does not seem to be the case on Talk:Mexico. And accusing people of disruptive editing when it doesn't apply is not a good plan. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:27, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I had seen your statement in Talk:Tokyo Two and felt that it very clearly reflected what I wanted to say in Talk:Mexico regarding the issue on whether Spanish is the language of Mexico. Unfortunately I have a plethora of pages open in my browser, and I first included the discussion in the wrong page, then again in a wrong page, and on the third attempt I finally managed to get in the right place. I apologize for having lifted the text from what you had mentioned. And yes, I did feel very strongly that some people were showing ownership or the article in Mexico and attempting to commit disruptive editing. Sonarclawz (talk) 08:32, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I totally understand about the multiple browsers/tabs problems. Alright, I see that you did it for a good reason; it just seemed like such an odd thing to do that my curiosity was piqued. Thanks for the explanation. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:04, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Gunga-Din

Thanks for contributing the Gunga Din article. I'm unable to find a reference to this being the language for which the Urdu script was developed and thrived upon, though. I can't find a mention of it in the Iranian entry. Could you supply a source? Thanks! Waita (talk) 17:17, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No Problem. Was glad I could be of help. Sonarclawz (talk) 10:32, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sega Genesis and Mega Drive

Hi - I just wanted to clarify something, because I'm a bit confused. You seem to be arguing for the current title in the discussion, but you've offered conditional support for renaming it as "Sega Genesis". Is that your intent? Jakew (talk) 14:15, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that is my intent. The condition for my support is the others who supported the compromise title support Sega Genesis. That is, Scepter, Jinnai, etc.
As far as I understand, the title needs to make the most people happy. There was constant fighting at Mega Drive to make it Sega Genesis, but Mega Drive was always defended just as evenly. Then people said that basically both names are just as common as the other, so the compromise title was created.Sonarclawz (talk) 10:32, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, just checking. Thanks, Jake (talk) 14:36, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
