Saint Petersburg Lyceum 30 (Template:Lang-ru), is a public high school in Saint Petersburg, Russia that specializes in mathematics and physics. The school opened in 1897 and it became a specialized city school in 1965. The school is noted for its strong academic programs.

History

The history of current 30 Physics and Mathematics Lyceum on Vasilyevsky Island began October 6, 1897 when the first city 12-grade primary school for 600 students named after Catherine II was found. It was placed at Sredniy prospect 31. It was a very significant event in the history of the city seeking to solve a number of existed primary education problems.[1]
