Georgia 205
Bells Ferry Road
Georgia state highway system

Georgia State Route 205 was assigned to Bells Ferry Road in Cherokee County. This route was decommisioned in 1985 and maintenance was handed over to the county. Though Bells Ferry Road does connect downtown Marietta with Canton, Highway 205 began at it's junction with Georgia State Route 92 in the Oak Grove district of southern Cherokee County. In the mid 1990s, this road underwent an upgrade to a four-lane parkway. This expansion started at I-575 and ended at Kellogg Creek Road. Motorists use this road to access places such as Little River Marina, Towne Lake Parkway, and the Bridge Mill development area south of Canton. As of December 2005, there are no plans to restore the state designation of 205.
