You Stole The Sun From My Heart was released by Manic Street Preachers on August 24 1998 and was the third single to be released from the This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours. All three members of the band, James Dean Bradfield, Sean Moore and Nicky Wire share the writing credits.

The original release also included versions of "Socialist Serenade" and "Train In Vain" (Live).
