The 2012 Esso Cup is Canada's fourth annual national women's midget hockey championship, which is being played April 22-28, 2012 at the CARI Complex inside MacLauchlan Arena on the University of Prince Edward Island campus in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.[1]
Details
Competing in the tournament are the winners of the five regional playdowns and the host team, Capital District Cyclones. The six teams will play a 15-game round robin, with the top four teams qualifying for the semi-final games, which will determine who will play in the bronze medal game and gold medal games. Coverage of all tournament games will be streamed online at fasthockey.com. The gold medal game will be televised nationally on TSN and RDS.[1]
