James William Holt (May 27, 1944 in Graham, North Carolina) is a retired professional baseball player.

Holt was an outfielder and first baseman who played over parts of 9 seasons (1968–1976) with the Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics. Holt was a member of the 1974 World Series champion Athletics. He had a career batting average of .265 with 19 home runs and 177 runs batted in in 707 games. He was particularly successful as a pinch hitter.
