Well I am sorry...I didn't mean to write an autobiography...(I am not talking about myself here, I am sorry if it 'sounded' like this). Sorry I probably made a mistake I wanted to publish it under the Wikipedia:Notability (academics)section, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(academics)section . (My apologies again...Could you help me to fix that please?) Obviously it was fault...lack of experience you see...I don't use Wiki so often. So how do I publish it under the academics section? Apologies again for any inconvenience. Many thanks .KaterinaM 21:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Professor Tim Woods. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Regarding this article, the text that was on here is the property of Aberystwyth University; Wikipedia may not use the text wholesale. If Woods is a notable person, the article will need to be written in original text—in your own words that you may (and will, by uploading) place under a free license.
It will still need to be demonstrated that Woods is notable, preferably by providing sources, such as newspaper or magazine articles, written about Woods by a party unrelated to him—not him, not his co-researcher, not his university. —C.Fred (talk) 22:07, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
