The White-browed Shortwing (Brachypteryx montana) is a species of chat. This thrush-like Old World flycatcher is nowadays placed in the family Turdidae.

It is found in Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
