Poppy Bros. Jr.

Poppy Bros. Jr. are walking enemies which wear blue caps, sometimes rolling around on an apple or other item, which can damage Kirby if he comes in contact with it. In Kirby Super Star they can throw both bombs and boomerangs, which Kirby can copy as the bomb ability and the cutter ability respectively. In Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland they are a sub-boss as well and regain the abiltity to throw bombs.

Cappy

At first glance, Cappies look like bouncing or dancing mushrooms that move slowly along the ground. Occasionally they will throw their mushroom cap up into the air, revealing that they are cylindrical creatures with faces and arms resembling ancient Japanese haniwa statues. When Kirby uses his default inhalation ability on one, he will suck up its mushroom cap, leaving the uncovered cappy unscathed.

Gordo

Gordos are often the one type of monster in a Kirby game that Kirby is completely unable to defeat, even with his crash ability that destroys all enemies on screen. They look like black balls similar in size to Kirby, their bodies are covered in sharp spikes, and they have two eyes. They will typically move in a straight line, horizontally or vertically, bouncing back and forth between walls, presenting a simple moving obstacle for Kirby. Notably, in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, when Kirby acquired the Bomb+Needle combo power, he became an explosive mini-version of Gordo for a short period of time.

Waddle Dee

Waddle Dee are little creatures that inhabit the planet Popstar. They are similar in size and shape to Kirby; yet are red with tan faces rather than Kirby's pink. In Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, a single Waddle Dee helps Kirby but in general they are enemy characters although they don't pose much of a threat. Sometimes they can be seen wielding parasols: when Kirby inhales them he will get the "Parasol" ability. In the anime, "Kirby: Right Back at Ya!," there are many Waddle Dees that serve their master, King Dedede. Along the beach of dreamland there are cave dees. In Kirby 64, Waddle Dee is also a friend of Kirby, just like Dedede. In the DS game Kirby: Canvas Curse, enemy Waddle Dees sometimes wield throwing spears or dandelion puffs, and a Waddle Dee is a playable character unlocked by completing the game with Kirby.

Waddle Doo

Waddle Doo fires harmful beams. Kirby obtains the beam ability when he copies a Waddle Doo. In Kirby 64, Waddle Dee is transformed into a Waddle Doo when he is possessed by Dark Matter. Waddle Doo is seen as the commander of the Waddle Dees in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. Waddle Doo is also playable in Kirby: Canvas Curse after the player either completes the game with every other character, or completes the Main Game mode with a copy of Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland or Kirby and the Amazing Mirror in the GBA slot of the Nintendo DS system.

Sparky

Sparky is a green enemy carrying the Spark ability. It generates a small electrical field around itself when Kirby comes near it.

Shotzo

Shotzo are the cannon enemies that fire projectiles either in a set position or one that changes accordingly to Kirby's position on screen. The Shotzo itself cannot be damaged, but the cannonballs can be destroyed before they come in contact with Kirby. In the game Kirby's Dreamland (Game Boy), Kirby can destroy Shotzo by touching them while invicible.

Scarfy

Scarfies look like orange, floating balls with cute, smiling faces and pointy ears. If Kirby attempts to use his default inhalation abilities on one, it will drop its cutsey facade, turn brown, and pursue Kirby with its sharp teeth and only one eye. Occasionally they will pursue Kirby whenever his back is turned as well. If Kirby can dodge the scarfy long enough, it will stop and explode. In Kirby SuperStar, using the copy ability on Scarfy will yield crash ability.

Burnin' Leo

Burnin' Leos have large hair and eyes, and are, similar to Kirby, round shaped. They wear a tiara with a large jewel in the middle. They give Kirby the flame ability.

Sir Kibble

Blade Knight

Blade Knights wear an awkward-looking suit of armour and have a single eye in the center of their bodies. They wield a sword so when Kirby inhales them he gets the sword ability. They are believed to be the minions of Meta Knight in the anime, however, this is not evident in the games, especially since a special unlockable in Nightmare in Dreamland allows you to play as Meta Knight and defeat them.

Kabu

Kabus bear a slight resemblance to Gyroids of Animal Crossing fame. They have the abilities to float and teleport, but give Kirby no ability. They are always spinning. In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, Kabu is a giant statue that can see into the future.

Bronto Burt, Twizzy, and Tookey

Bronto Burt is a pink fly that inflicts damage with kamikaze attacks. Twizzy has the same strategy, but have an appearance similar to a canary, while Tookeys look like roosters. They possess no ability for copying.

Rocky

As its name implies, Rocky resembles a rock. It has stubby Kirby-like feet. It sometimes wears a headband. It attacks by walking and bumping into Kirby to hurt him. It's rather slow, and when Kirby inhales it, he gets the rock ability.

Biospark

Bio Sparks also have the same general body shape as Kirby, and are shrouded in a ninja-like cloak and helmet. They give Kirby the ninja ability.

Jungle Bomb

Jungle Bomb has only appeared in Kirby Super Star, in which it wears a green military-type helmet and gives the bomb ability. It slightly resembles a pineapple.

Simirror

Simirrors are humanoid in form and wear thick robes and a wizard hat. They use a wand as a weapon and, when inhaled, give the Mirror ability. When attacked, they teleport to another area. If they are on solid ground or in the air, they will survive for another hit but if they appear in a wall, they will be defeated.

Wheelie

Wheelies are tires with an eye in their center. They give the Wheel ability. In Kirby Air Ride, Wheelie is called Wheelie Bike and is one of the selectable machines.

Needlous

Tac

Tac is a mole-like enemy who wears a black suit and has a green bag. He throws out his hand and steal the power your using and try to run away with it. If you don't defeat Tac quickly, it will run away or blast off into the sky. In Kirby Super Star, Tac is capable of stealing partners you create. In Kirby Air Ride, Tac appears in City Trial and gives out power-ups if you ram him.

Bobo

Bobo is a flame-like monster that has shoes and walks. They never actually go out of their way to attack, and killing them gives the burning ability. They appear in the games kirby's dream land 3 and kirby and the crystal shards.

Bonkers

Bonkers is a mini-boss. He is a gorilla-type creatures with strong hands. He fights with a hammer and nuts. When defeated and inhaled, he will give the Hammer ability. In Kirby Super Star, when Kirby creates a partner using the hammer ability, the partner Bonkers is incapable of throwing nuts.

Chef Kawasaki

Chef Kawasaki is a rotund, orange individual who wears an apron and chef's hat and uses a frying pan as his weapon. In Kirby Super Star, Kirby could copy the cook ability from Chef Kawasaki, which could be used to transform enemies into food.

Shadow Kirby

Shadow Kirby is a Mirror Version of Kirby who is hidden in every world in Kirby And The Amazing Mirror. Basically, all he does is walk out from behind a wall and jumps, then goes back behind the wall. If Kirby eats him, he won't get an ability, but Shadow Kirby will always throw out a power-up before he is defeated.
