Hala Gorani (b. Hala Basha-Gorani 1 March, 1970, Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.) is an American anchor/correspondent for CNN International based in the network's headquarters in Atlanta. Previously based at the London bureau, she is now one of the anchors of CNN International's Your World Today.

Gorani also hosts a monthly program on CNN called "Inside the Middle East" and often reports from the region.

Although she was born in Seattle, she was raised in Paris and spent most of her early career there, which explains her slight French accent when she speaks English. She is of Syrian descent.

She began her career as a reporter for La Voix du Nord and Agence France-Presse before joining France 3 in 1994. After a stint at Bloomberg Television in London, she joined CNN in 1998.

Gorani earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from George Mason University near Washington, D.C. and graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris in 1995.
