Gerry McNeilly

Gerry McNeilly (b. 1950s) BA, LLB is a lawyer and head of Ontario's Independent Police Review Director (IPRD), a quasi independent civilian body that investigates complaints about polices forces (municipal and the Ontario Provincial Police) in the province.

McNeilly graduated from York University (Bachelor's of Arts) and Queen's University (Bachelor's of Law).

Prior to his current position, McNeilly served in legal roles in the province of Manitoba and Ontario[1]:

McNeilly's role as Director of IPRD began in 2008 and is currently investigating police misconduct during the 2010 G-20 Toronto summit.[2]
