Zombie Dice is a "press your luck" party dice game created by Steve Jackson Games.[1][2] In May 2012, Wil Wheaton played Zombie Dice, along with Tsuro and Get Bit!, on the third episode of his series TableTop onto YouTube with Ryan Higa, Freddie Wong and Rod Roddenberry.[3][4] Zombie Dice has also been uploaded onto the App Store.[5]
Gameplay
The gameplay of Zombie Dice is simple.[6] The player has to shake dice in a cup and randomly select three dice without looking into the cup and roll them. A brain is the desired object to roll in the game. The player might roll a blast, which presents three possible choices. The first choice is for the player to press their luck and roll again. The player may also choose to stop rolling and allow the next player to roll. There is also a possibility that the player rolls three shotgun blasts in one turn, therefore their turn stops and the next player rolls. A "runner" is represented by feet and rolling a runner means that the player can roll that same dice if they choose to press their luck. A winner is determined if a player rolls 13 brains and all other players have taken at least one more turn without reaching 13 brains.[7][8]
Awards
Zombie Dice was the winner of the 2011 Origin Awards for a Family, Children's or Party game.[9]
