Found in gardens just over 4mm with a 1mm tail. [1]. In the Mordellidae family. First scientifically described in 1945.

Mordellistena liturata is a species of beetle in the Mordellistena genus that is in the Mordellidae family, which is a part of the Tenebrionoidea superfamily. It was discovered in 1845. [1]
