Finale Emilia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 35 km north of Bologna and about 35 km northeast of Modena.

The municipality of Finale Emilia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Massa Finalese and Canaletto. Finale was struck by an earthquake on 20 May 2012, which destroyed or damaged several historical structures, such as the Torre dei Modenesi (a clock tower) and most of the Rocca (castle) and of the Duomo.
