From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Nnemo (talk | contribs) at 19:59, 31 May 2012 (I have introduced several words that fit both of our views. You did not propose anything. This phrase now is neutral.). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

The indigenous peoples of the Americas are the aboriginal peoples of North and South America. They include the Precolumbian peoples who lived in the Americas before African and European contact and the descendants of these peoples, including peoples called multiracial, such as the Mestizo, Métis, and others. These include the southernmost ethnic group in the word, the Yaghan of Chile and Argentina, to the northernmost people in the world, the Inughuit of Greenland.
