Sir Martin Onslow Forster (November 8, 1872 - May 24, 1945) was a chemist and a director of the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. He was born in London.

His interest in Chemistry began in secondary school at Margate. Further studies and a certificate were achieved in industry. Later, Forster studied at the University of Würzburg and London University.

He died in Mysore, India.
