Craig White (born December 16, 1969, Morley Hall, Yorkshire) is a cricketer for Yorkshire. White was brought up in Australia, but later moved back to England, his country of birth. This led to him becoming Yorkshire's first-ever overseas signing. At the time Yorkshire still operated a policy of only employing cricketers born in Yorkshire, even though English counties could play up to two overseas players if they wished. White was not qualified to play for England when he first came back to the county (having played in Australia), leading to Yorkshire listing him as an overseas player.
White played 30 Test matches as an all-rounder but he followed up a successful 2000 series against the West Indies with a disastrous Ashes series the following summer, which saw him dropped from the side.
