In 2010, the firm was ranked as one of the nation's top 20 corporate law firms by Corporate Board Member In the same year—and for the third year in a row—Akin Gump was named to The National Law Journal's "Appellate Hot List".[1] of firms "with stellar records in appellate advocacy." Commitment to Community
Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld has a number of lawyers involved in pro bono projects at any given time. More than 70% of the lawyers at the firm devote 60 hours to pro bono projects.
