St. Gabriel the Archangel Elementary School is a Catholic School within the Archdiocese of Louisville. The school is located in the Fern Creek neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky.

About

The school is a part of the National Catholic Educational Association(NCEA). St. Gabriel serves grades Pre-K (3 year old and 4 year old) to the 8th Grade. The institution has an enrollment of about 765 students.[1]

Rachel Maloney, an 11-year old of the school in 1998 won the contest changing the name of the local minor league baseball team from the Red Birds to the Louisville River Bats.[2]
