Elwood (dog)
Elwood is the 2007 winner of the World's Ugliest Dog Contest, and had come in second in the contest the year before. His owner is Karen Quigley, a resident of Sewell, New Jersey, United States. He is a two year old Chinese Crested/chihuahua mixed breed.[1]
History
Elwood was rescued as a result of an NJ Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals investigation. He was shivering, had a runny nose, and was making strange sounds when Karen came over to see him. Elwood still makes these strange noises to this day. He also looks asif he was run over by a pickuo truck,according to sources..[2]
Appearance
Elwood has a strip of white hair on his head,[3] big eyes and a tongue which is literally too large for his mouth and hangs out of the side of it.[2]
