Administrative division of regions of Ukraine is not homogeneous, but it is standardized. There are three types of regional subdivisions: raions, raions in city, and city of regional significance (jurisdiction).

Each region has at least one or all of those subdivisions. Each of those subdivisions have their own state administration appointed by the President of Ukraine on the recommendation of a governor (chairman of the Regional State Administration).

List of subdivisions

  • raions of Ukraine
