Kiss the Ring is the sixth studio album by DJ Khaled. It will be released under We the Best Music Group, Terror Squad Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Universal Republic Records on August 21, 2012.[1]
Background
On December 10, 2011 DJ Khaled announced the title of his next album, Kiss the Ring, via a video, with the release date as "coming soon", presumed 2012.[2] DJ Khaled is working on the project with Ace Hood, T-Pain, Drake, French Montana, Future, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Jae Millz, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame, Wale, Big Sean, Plies, Birdman, T.I, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross & Maybach Music Group artists (Meek Mill & More), R. Kelly, Ghostface Killah, Young Jeezy, Jill Scott, Flo Rida, Young Money & Cash Money artists and many more. Khaled mentioned that he has a verse from someone very special. The album cover and release date was released in a video promoting the album on May 24, 2012.[3]
Singles
The album's first single "Take It to the Head" featuring Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne was released on April 3, 2012.
