The Minister of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion (Template:Lang-no) is a councillor of state and chief of Norway's Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion. The position was named the Minister of Consumer Affairs from 1956 to 1972, and again from the position was recreated in 1989. In 1990 it was renamed the Minister of Children and Family Affairs, in 2006 it became the Minister of Children and Equality and from 2010 it took the current title. Since March 23rd, 2012, the position has been held by Inga Marte Thorkildsen of the Socialist Left Party.[1]
