Jasky Singh (born 3 December 1985)[1][2], also known by stage name as j-sKy, is an Australian based entrepreneur, radio announcer, and marketer. Jasky Singh has headed a number of successful business ventures.
Early life and education
Jasky Singh was born in Patiala, India. He completed his secondary and tertiary education in Australia, graduating with a double degree, Bachelors in Computer science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Australia, 2002-2008. But upon completion, he did the complete opposite of what most people would do after spending nearly 6 years studying for a degree, he quit. Jasky tested the market, failing several times, in various business ventures during 2008 - 2010.
Life and Career
Radio
Jasky headed his career as a radio announcer on Groove 101.7 FM in 2003, eventually hosting the prime time Saturday night show B-Bounce with A.T. and Jasky[3]. The show's success leading to stints on Nova 93.7, 92.9 FM and a weekly Indian morning drive show Sikh Sangeet on 6EBA-FM[4][5][6].
Music
Jasky began his music career forming a group called J2 in 2006, who released and performed their first Indian fusion single All You'll Ever Be at Metro City Nightclub in Perth[7]. Due to personal reasons, J2 split and Jasky formed a partnership with producer Suki Sekhon founding Jupiter Entertainment in 2007[8]. Jupiter Entertainment has since been recognised by prominent record labels internationally. Jasky learnt his marketing and sales skills from his time at Jupiter Entertainment.
Business
Jasky and three other directors came together to form K2 Audio Visual Australia. A company that assists education and corporate facilities. For [Education | education], the company inputs technology into the classroom to output smarter students. For [Corporate | corporate], the company implements technology to get people in and out of meetings quicker, with better outcomes. Today, K2 Audio Visual has an impressive portfolio and has already expanded operations internationally, working in Malaysia and Indonesia.
