Almost completely unsourced, requires a great deal of work to even begin sorting it out. Mdann52 (talk) 15:35, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. I haven't had time to go through this article thoroughly, tracing down the cites and references, but I'll say this, my shit detector is already pinging. I can't find any evidence of a "Jacky Jasper" or any other associated pseudonym on the personnel list of Ike Turner's "Risin' with the blues" album ([1]) and the date for this album, and the associated Grammy award, is incorrect. (It was released in 2006 and Turner won the Grammy for it in 2007.) As the nominator says, this is a lot of work to sort out; I hope to return to this effort. I believe 76.175.157.240 and User:James mojo are the guilty parties/party for this. Mdann52 (talk) 21:13, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete pending more information. In addition to promotional issues, what little I can find in the way of sourcing so far ends up being press releases. There may be more, but I'm of the opinion that even if new sources are found this will essentially need to be rewritten from scratch in any case. --j⚛e deckertalk 20:23, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - The current article started as a copyright cleanup from content copy / pasted from myspace by another user (Darrick122 (talk). Before performing such recoveries, I would normally typically check the references for at least borderline notability. Going back to the last version I touched, I imagine the Rolling Stone magazine would have convinced me of that - yet this reference doesn't resolve today and searching the archives yields nothing of use either. I can only conclude that I screwed up or wanted to help out a newbie without doing the required homework. My bad. Absent that Rolling Stone link, the subject isn't covered by sufficient independent Sources to guarantee a neutral stub, let alone a full article. MLauba (Talk) 12:27, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
